Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:

1. Ability to do the work of a Sign Painter Helper without more than normal supervision (Screen Out) AND
2. Must have experience doing the following duties: Operating different types of sign making tools and equipment ranging from routers, power saws, sanders, computer-controlled cutters and laser engravers.
3. Make wood signs from rough lumber including painting letters and staining. Create various types of plaques and awards using wood, aluminum, brass and other materials typical to the industry.
4. Use computers and various programs to operate sign making equipment to cut, layout and make signs.
5. Make signs from work orders and/or blueprints.
6. Appropriately set up, maintain and work within controlled traffic work zones and works as a flagger during roadway projects.
