Requirements:

A minimum of three years of related experience is preferred. Must have specialized experience working at the Journeyman level of the Electrical trade. Must have the ability to use hand and power tool. Must possess knowledge of advance shop mathematics and have the ability to recognize quality work, to read, interpret and apply building plans, specifications, diagrams, blueprints, sketches, and building codes. Troubleshooting of major electrical distribution systems and loading and testing new and existing lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls and equipment, such as secondary distribution lines and circuits used to supply a wide range of voltage, amperage, phase and frequency requirement to distribution panels, switch gear, power and control circuits, electrical warning, detection, and fire alarm systems, and high intensity lighting systems. Repair electronic ballast, electronic dimmer panels, automatic transfer switches. Must have some knowledge of the Uniform Building Code and have the ability to apply supervisory methods and techniques. Must have the ability to plan, organize and be able to learn command policies and directives as related to the operation. Will develop or re-establish priorities, move personnel to meet deadlines. California drivers license is required.
