Requirements:

Bachelor¿s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field that demonstrates strong skills in relationship management, community engagement/outreach, or program coordination, and a minimum of three years of related experience demonstrating these skills OR an equivalent combination of related education and required experience that demonstrates the ability to research companies for commercial sponsorship, identify key personnel to contact, and negotiate terms of a contract.


Overall experience must include sales experience that reflects an ability to build rapport, understand stakeholder needs and illustrates success in meeting/exceeding goals as an individual contributor. Skilled in networking, understanding business requirements and balancing return on investment concerns. Must have strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, both written and oral to solicit commercial sponsorship/advertising sales and business development strategies, negotiate contracts and to write after action reports.


Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Knowledgeable of social media platforms and must demonstrate knowledge and application of marketing strategy, planning, budgeting, advertising, and promotions. Ability to juggle multiple projects and work assignments with grace under pressure. Ability to positively interact with various internal and external clients, vendors, and departments. Occasional weekend and evening hours are required.
