You will serve as a Program Specialist (Victim and Witness Assistance Program) in the Office of Special Trial Counsel, (Region West) office located in San Diego, CA.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as: 1) Understand, provide training on, and supervise the implementation of all aspects of Victim-Witness Assistance Program Policies or equivalent civilian sector Victim-Witness policies or legislation; 2) Serve as sole point of contact for the Regional Special Trial Counsel for tracking regional compliance with Victim-Witness Assistance Program requirements or equivalent civilian sector Victim-Witness policies or legislation; 3) directly interact with crime victims to explain the court-martial process, case timelines, and their rights under Victim-Witness Assistance Program policies or equivalent civilian sector Victim-Witness policies or legislation.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
