You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the N30, FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES of NB SAN DIEGO.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Leading the day-to-day operations for assigned shift providing guidance on firefighter related procedures;
- Fighting structural fires using pre-fire planning methods and knowledge of layouts and design;
- Operating firefighting emergency vehicles and equipment;
- Providing hazardous material incident response; and,
- Providing basic life support procedures as needed for each emergency call.
