You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER in the FLUID SYSTEMS and MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DIVISION, NUCLEAR ENGINEERING and PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:* Experience engineering the aspects of work pertaining to construction, overhaul, repair and modification of valves associated with a nuclear reactor plant.
* Experience providing engineering direction for the reactor plant including correction of deficiencies.
* Experience leading a team in resolution of complex problems discovered during work on the reactor plant or associated system.
* Experience coaching and mentoring engineers in work planning, execution, and problem solving associated with the nuclear reactor plant.
