About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Clinical Support at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, CA. The incumbent will provide technical support, oversight of staff, and daily work assignments in the Inpatient/Outpatient Pharmacy, Sterile Products or Outpatient Dispensing Divisions.- A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes receiving and distributing prescription medication within the full scope of a pharmacy practice; advising new and/or existing staff on proper pharmacy policies and procedures; and packaging and labeling medications according to pharmacy standard operating procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
OR
One full year of graduate-level education in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, or Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field of study, from an accredited college or university. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.) (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
