Description:

You will serve as a Supervisory Security Specialist in the FLT NUMER OCEANGPHY METEO CTR.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Experience and comprehensive knowledge of DoD and Navy instructions specific to physical security, personnel security, information security and industrial security.

Experience and knowledge of anti-terrorism techniques and issues to function as the FNMOC expert on that issue.

Experience and knowledge of the state-of-the-art in intrusion detection systems and devices, safes and other storage containers, locks and locking systems, personnel entry control systems, security measures applicable to transporting and shipping requirements, ballistic protection measures, asset protection, and loss prevention.

Experience and skill in reading, understanding, and evaluating site/facility engineering drawings for potential security deficiencies and to design and implement installation security systems for new facilities.

Experience and skill in oral communication to allow for briefing top management on security issues, providing training on security related issues, counseling employees who have breached security.

Experience and skill in writing to allow for development of instructions, guidelines, etc., related to the administration of the security program.

Ability to deal with people of all levels, civilian, contractor, and military, in situations that could be adversarial in nature.
