Description:
You will serve as a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the SUPPLY MATERIAL SUPPORT DIVISION, SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.Requirements:
GS-11Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Experience developing and executing the planning and coordination of complex acquisition plans for vessels supported.
* Experience establishing criteria to identify and analyze trends in Shipyard supply programs and requirements.
* Experience ensuring all material required for the repair and alteration of ships is ordered, expedited, received, and inspected to support production schedules.
* Experience supporting material needs for other productive work on the shipyard, including coordinating with Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS).
GS-09
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Experience supporting the execution of the logistics of material, tools, consumable handling from job planning to job execution.
* Experience developing process improvements for increased accuracy of identification, ordering, and delivery of services and material for future work.
* Experience interpreting and applying guidelines from more than one Federal agency or department that apply to supply programs.
