Four years of substantial experience working in human resources OR an appropriate combination of education and substantial Human Resources experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above. Experience with DCPDS preferred. Must possess a broad knowledge of personnel procedures, policies and practices. Must be skilled in written and oral communication.
Knowledge of Marine Corps active duty and reserve manpower, structure validation, tables of organization (T/O' s), and T/O change request process. Ability to understand and evaluate the manpower requirements of MCCS and relate those needs to policies and priorities and capabilities. Knowledge of civilian personnel actions (staffing, pay and benefits, time and attendance, awards, performance management) and civilian manpower management.
NOTE: This position is designated as a critical sensitive position and therefore, at a minimum, requires a Tier 3 Background Investigation (Secret) level clearance. If selected, completion of a "Declaration of Federal Employment" (OF306) and submit all required paperwork for a Background Investigation, which must be favorably adjudicated.
This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.
