In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience : One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes reviewing and monitoring purchase card usage, evaluating purchase requests, utilizing office automation software (Program Audit tool (PAT) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), and/or tracking contractor employee records. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Successfully completed a master or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as business administration, human resources management, finances, or operations management (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience : Specialized experience as described above but less than one year; And I have at least one year of graduate education as described above, but less than the required two years. I have computed the percentage of requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% to compute percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus18) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal 100% to qualify. Note you must attach a copy of your transcripts.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
