Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a strong background in program management. The ideal candidate should have experience driving large-scale software projects, managing the definition of technical strategies, and building long-term scalable solutions.

Role and Responsibilities

  • This role requires strong collaboration with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security and Senior leadership to execute, track and deliver high impact strategic programs in the Samsung Ads space.
  • Able to identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs.
  • Articulate the technology, requirements, goals, and milestones of your team.
  • Work with the team to develop end-to-end program plans, influence teams to deliver against them, and keep the org and leadership informed on progress.
  • Drive engagement with internal partners, work to decompose requirements into technical execution plans with measurable milestones.
  • Meticulously plan and conduct workshops with large group of audience.
  • Define program deliverables and drive accountability through tracking and follow up on action items to closure.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached.
  • Produce program reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks early, promoting a smoother path to success and reducing potential disruptions.
  • Conduct scrum of scrums and steering committee meetings to bring alignment.
  • Provide uniform stakeholder experience through consistent communication, transparency regarding program status, resource requirements, priorities, risks, and issues.


Skills and Qualifications

  • 8 years in project/program management role managing software development projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling, managing a software build through different stages and environments all the way from ideation to release.
  • Working experience with technical teams, including product management, operations, engineering, etc.
  • Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good organizational skills with an ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proficiency in Agile software lifecycle methodology with hands on experience in JIRA Platform, GitHub and Confluence.
  • Experience in managing AdTech related programs is a plus
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 4 years and a Master's degree, or a PhD with 2 years experience.


Additional Qualifications

Experience in the digital advertising, Mobile, and/or Smart TV space a plus.
Demonstrated experience in shipping consumer and/or enterprise solutions.
Experience simultaneously working on multiple programs with multiple stakeholders.
Experience communicating effectively across organizational structures and multiple management levels.
PMP certification a plus.

CALIFORNIA ONLY

Compensation for this role is expected to be between $140,000 and $175,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
