Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, preventive and correct maintenance on test equipment in our labs
- Troubleshooting mechanisms and electro-mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical controls, data acquisition systems, safety systems, and sensors
- Perform the fabrication, assembly, and/or modifications of automated test equipment including controls, actuators, and safety controls
- Produce or revise test equipment procedures and documentation
- Support development and testing of new tests and test equipment
Requirements
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and instructions in order to fabricate metal parts & components. This includes the ability to understand and use CAD files
- Machine tool & metal fabrication skills are required. Welding skillset required. Various methods and metals such as stainless steel. Previous fabricator / fab shop experience required. Machine tool experience including manual and CNC milling desired. 3D printing knowledge desired
- Knowledge of a variety of fasteners, adhesives, and general best practices for the use of hand tools/ power tools
- Familiarity with Automation, PLC's, Data acquisition, Electrical controls
- Ability to wire up control panels, PLCs, sensors, and various controls and data acquisition equipment
- High awareness of safety hazards, procedures, and best work practices as it relates to high energy systems
- Working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Eager to learn, independently motivated, and proactive

$24.40 - $65.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
