In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume is the key means we have for evaluating your skills, knowledge, and abilities as they relate to this position. Therefore, we encourage you to be clear and specific when describing your experience.For the NT-05 pay band: In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Federal contracting specialist providing advice or guidance for pre-award and post-award contract operations and performing cost analysis and cost realism in accordance with Federal acquisition laws, regulations, and procedures.
For the NT-04 pay band: In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Contract Specialist as a professional Federal contracting specialist performing cost analysis and cost realism and analyzing contracting issues to identify and recommend solutions impacting contract operations in accordance with Federal acquisition laws, regulations, and procedures.
