You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Applying inventory management policies and procedures to maintain control and accountability of all material received, issued, stored, and disposed, while maintaining inventory record accuracy and auditability; 2) Using automated information systems, business logistics applications and software such as Microsoft Office suite, a supply management system, GSA systems and FedMall to retrieve, process, and analyze data and orders; 3) Communicating both orally and in writing to develop local supply and inventory management procedures and reports; 4) Complying with safety and hazardous material regulations, processes and procedures to ensure safe handling and to maintain a safe work environment.
