About the Position: Serves as Program Manager at the Guam Forward Element, Installation Management Command - Pacific (IMCOM-Pacific) Garrison.This is a time-limited promotion not to exceed 13 months, but may be extended up to a maximum of 5 years. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience GS-15: One year of experience which includes experience 1) overseeing the execution of military installation programs to include planning, resourcing, policies and procedures; AND 2) advising on the implementation of new strategic directions for military installation operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Time in Grade Requirement GS-15: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
