Description:
This position is assigned to the Single Sailor Recreation Division; Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). The primary purpose of this position is to manage and administer a comprehensive and diverse year round Single Sailor Program which includes the day-to-day operations, development, organization, facilitation, marketing and evaluation of recurring and nonrecurring programs within the Single Sailor Program.Requirements:
Knowledge of the principles, techniques and methods or procedures used in organizing, planning,administering and conducting a wide variety of recreation activities.
- Knowledge of the scope of recreational activities and their suitability for individuals, groups, ages
and interests
- Knowledge of current trends in recreation.
- Knowledge of marketing and promotion techniques that motivate and encourage program
participation.
- Knowledge of CNIC's EEO policy and procedures.
- Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Ability to develop and effectively deliver presentations and/or training.
- Ability to influence others in obtaining cooperation and assistance.
- Ability to perform the full range of supervisory duties.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
