Minimum Qualifications: Six months of bartending experience and one year of administrative experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above. Must be 21 years of age or older.
Skill and Knowledge: Ability to read and comprehend the English language and write it legibly. Ability to effectively and professionally communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to coordinate with various sections/workstations to satisfy customer catering and events requirements. Skills to assist customers in planning delivery of services. Ability to prepare reports and complete simple contractual arrangements. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Skill in preparing beverages according to name request from guests. Ability to serve uniform individual portions and to avoid distractions (e.g., when several people ask for different items at the same time). Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to resolve the problem or seek assistance, if needed.
Ability to read and follow instructions. Ability to perform simple arithmetic. Knowledge of cash handling procedures.
Responsibility: Receives general instructions from management. Independently performs duties according to standard operating procedures.
Physical Effort: This is a white-collar position, however, standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 45 lbs. is frequently required. May be required to lift up to 150 lbs with assistance.
Working Conditions : Works inside with adequate lighting, heat and ventilation and on occasion, works outside in various temperatures/climates. Works nights and weekends.
