A minimum of three years of experience as a hotel manager in a motel/hotel type of operation, demonstrating a strong understanding of hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, maintenance, supply/inventories, finance, and food and beverage service. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage guests, staff, and management effectively. Ability to lead and motivate a team of employees. Proficiency in using hotel management software and computer applications. Knowledge of federal, local, and state regulations related to lodging facilities, including safety, health, and environmental codes. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings according to business needs. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, officials and others. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Knowledge of NAF policies and procedures preferred. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
