Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field appropriate to work of the position OR an appropriate combination of education and experience totaling four years¿ experience in the Travel and Tourism industry. Supervisory experience required. Must be capable of managing numerous facilities, satellite and branch locations. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to deal with all classes of people. Skill to operate a personal computer. May be required to travel extensively. Must be certified as an Airline Reporting Corporation Specialist. Must be knowledgeable in providing government travel. Must have knowledge of contractual agreements and possess good negotiation skills. Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of reconciliation of commissions and payment as it relates to leisure and government travel. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
