Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band (DS-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Installing, configuring, testing, and evaluating software, tools, and utilities; 2) Assessing security methods and systems to monitor, prevent or limit the loss of IT resources due to unauthorized access, destruction, disclosure, tampering, or alteration; and installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware/software systems; 3) Demonstrating knowledge and experience with monitoring system performance, IT system operations and storage utilization; 4) Managing user accounts and assets and assigns and updates security permissions on the network according to security policy.
